Melanie Page-Wood

I am so glad you found us here.  I am passionate about seeing people living a full and hopeful life.   I started Bright Hope Counseling Center in 2012 for all people, no matter background, gender, race or economic status to be able to find a safe place to seek help.  I grew up with a functioning alcoholic father and felt that at times I felt that I was not “seen” and did not have “value”.  Out of those experiences developed my passion that all people are of value and at the core desire to be truly “seen.”  I am blessed to be in a career that I love and am honored to be let into people’s stories.

My approach is work in partnership with you to explore where you are now, how the past effects you today, and how to work on future that you are dreaming.  I used evidence based cognitive behavior therapy, motivational interviewing and solution focus brief therapy.

Through out my 18 year career I have work with people and there loved ones who are struggling with addictions as well as mental health and relationship issues.   I am also a paneled provider of the state to work with Gambling Addiction.   I work with teens through adults as well as couple’s and family’s.
